Thorpe gala
On the 5th of February Blofield swam in a gala at Thorpe swimming pool and the years that could enter, were year 4, 5 , 6, there were five schools and they were Blofield , Dusindale, Hemblington, White Woman Lane and Angel Road. You could enter 2 events and we had 16 people competing ,Eva Greening got 1 gold for backstroke , Austin taylor got 1 gold for butterfly and Emily howlet got 2 golds for butterfly and freestyle. Oscar Hunter got 2 golds for backstroke and freestyle Thomas Wilson got 1 gold in breastroke and came second in butterfly. Joey newton did very well and came second in some great times. Thomas Slowther had a real good team spirit and came second and third in his races. Hannah Rowley came 1st in backstroke and butterfly and Fahri in year 4 winning 2 golds too. Well done to Willow, Ruby, Emily, Ozzie, Callum, Freddie and Thomas Year 6 were very successful too with 6 golds and a silver between them. Well done all you swimmers keep up the hard work at training.
