French Spring Term 2 Overview
A number of parents asked if we could provide a guide to methods we use for teaching calculations. Below is the policy from White Rose which we follow. If you are ever unsure, please ask to pop in and we will happily go through things with you. We are currently learning to multiply 3-digit numbers by 1 digit and next week are moving on to informal methods of division so that they are ready for the bus-stop method in Year 5.
In case you haven't found it, there is lots of information under the Maths section of the website which can be found at:

This half term we will be learning about Electricity in Science and learning new map skills in Geography. Please use the knowledge organisers below to help you discuss your child's learning at home.
During our science lessons we have been exploring how a circuit works. Here are some photos of some completed circuits lighting up a bulb! The children had to work hard to identify any issues encountered including broken bulb filaments and dead cells.
OS Maps Games
Please practice your OS map skills with the games on this website. You should focus on the OS map symbols game but of course you can explore the other sections.
You can access your Accelerate Reader Quizzes here.
