Religion and Worldviews

At Blofield Primary School, we have designed our Religion and Worldviews curriculum with the intent that our children will become open-minded, accepting and respectful individuals. Our curriculum allows for pupils’ spiritual, social, moral and cultural development, as well as promoting British values. We aim to deepen pupils’ knowledge and vocabulary about religions and to develop their religious literacy. Our lessons are planned to be thought-provoking to encourage discussion, questions and enquiry. We build on prior knowledge and always have the Blofield values (Fairness, Respect, Challenge, Perseverance and Thoughtfulness) in mind in order to ensure pupils are culturally aware of the world they live in.  Our curriculum is based on the Norfolk Agreed Syllabus.
