  • Blofield Children Loving the Sportshall Athletics

    We took 86 children to the UEA on Thursday to take part in the school sports games Sportshall Athletic competition. The children were brilliant and had lots of fun running, jumping and throwing. Thank you to all of my parent helpers you are stars.
  • Year 3/4 Girls Learning New Skills for Football

    What a great morning. 24 Year 3 and 4 girls went to Thorpe High School to take part in a football festival. The girls all went round and completed a skills circuit and finished off with 3 games. Everyone worked hard and improved their football.
  • Blofield School Goes Tag Rugby Mad

    What a great day for all of year 6 and some of year 5 had on Wednesday at the Tag Rugby Festival organised by Isla from the Norwich East Partnership. We had four teams of 8 which meant that everyone had to play every minute of every game. The children were fantastic especially our red team who were awarded with the sportsmanship certificate. All of the children played really well with brilliant team work and some happy try scorers. Well done year six I will definitely miss all of you next year. Hope high school is good for you and that you all carry on playing sport throughout. Mr K
  • New Golfing Stars from Blofield

    Well done to our budding golfers from year 3/4 who represented the Norwich East Partnership a couple of weeks ago and finished runners up in the County competition by 2 points. All 10 of the children played really well and were fantastic ambassadors for the school. Well done guys. Mr K.

    We took a group to the new Nest football facility to a year 4 football competition. The girls played the first half and the boys played the second. They played brilliantly and against mainly year 4's winning 3 of their games and just missing out on qualifying for the semi-finals. Well done all you guys. Mr K
  • Year 6 County Athletics Champions

    Congratulations to our year 6 Athletic team who beat 15 other schools from Norfolk to be crowned as County Champions for the second year running. The team worked really hard on the day and produced some excellent individual performances. Well done Blofield.

    Congratulations to out year 3/4 Athletic team who beat 15 other schools from Norfolk to be crowned as County Champions. The team worked really hard on the day and produced some excellent individual performances. It was a one two for Norwich East with Dussindale coming a close second. Well done Norwich East and Blofield.
  • Year 6 County Netball Champions

    Well done to our Netball team County Champions. Congratulations to the year 6 netball team for their great performances on Thursday. We played a total of 7 games throughout the day winning all of them. We had a really exciting close game against Cringleford but just managed to squeeze through. Well done i'm very proud of all your work over the years.
  • Skiing in Ipswich in May?

    Congratulations to the fabulous skiers who travelled to Ipswich on Sunday to compete in the Eastern Region Artificial Ski Slope Championships. We had 14 children competing in various races both as individuals and team events. All of the children survived and had a great time with one of the teams winner the silver team medal in one section. Well done to you all and thanks to all of the parents for attending and looking after the children.
  • Tennis Stars

    Congratulations to our tennis players on the 1st May. 12 Children joined 12 other teams from schools in the area to play in a tennis tournament. It was really exciting this year as 4 teams would progress through to the county finals in June. The children all played brilliantly and learnt to cope with the harder ball that was used in the competition. All of the teams won some of their games with 2 of the 3 teams coming 2nd and 3rd overall and looking forward to competing at the county finals. Well done guys I was very proud of all your hard work.
