22.01.24 Learning to write newspaper articles
In this unit of English, the children will write a newspaper article based on the traditional tale Goldilocks.
Their first job was to research what should be included in newspaper articles and in what style their writing should be.

The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes
Year 6 have been studying this narrative poem to understand the features that appear in poetry. Over the last few weeks, they have planned and written and edited their own version of the poem.
Here they are, working with their partners to improve their poem by carefully editing it.
