Sliders
Spring Two.
Our exciting DT topic is 'Moving Pictures'.
Year One have been learning how to make sliders. They even created characters with a lever and pivot mechanism. Super work Year One!
In our first DT topic this year, we have been thinking about how to design and create our own 'Healthy Chistmas Snacks'
Practical Session 06/12/2023 Year One Spent the afternoon creating their own Christmas snacks. In previous weeks they had thought about the foods that they already liked, those they didn't like and some that they had never tried. We made a pictogram to show our favourites so we knew which ones to buy! We made a Christmas Bauble and a Santa. We were really pleased with the results and they tasted amazing. We learned new skills to hold and cut different fruits and vegetables carefully.
