Blofield Primary School

Band is another after-school activity, which enables instrumental players to get together and start to learn how to play in a larger group. This group is open to any child who has lessons on an instrument and wants to join.

When a child is just beginning, their part in the band is arranged so it is simple and they can build confidence playing.  As the year progresses, their parts are changed to match their learning and help them to develop further. The children, who have been learning longer and are more familiar with their instrument, are given more complex music and solos to highlight their skills.

The band is made up of a wide variety of instruments, which include recorder, flute, saxophone, tenor horn, guitar, violin, clarinet, trumpet and keyboard.

If you play an instrument and want to be part of a group, please come along and join in!
