PTA Zone - Bark for the Children's Play Area
The bark around the Reception school play area was beginning to look rather mushy and definitely in need of replacement before the weather brightens in 2010.
The PTA funded and laid the bark around to the playground area as the tipper truck could only get so close...let's just say it'surprising how much bark you need for a small playground, 10 cubic metres, and just how many wheelbarrow-loads it takes to shift that much!
True to the saying, many hands make light work, it didn't take us too long to get the job done. The end result is pleasing and ready for the onslaught of children for the next few years!
