Blofield Primary School - Our History
Welcome to Blofield Primary School.
Our school is situated in the heart of a friendly village with easy access to the historical city of Norwich and the port of Gt. Yarmouth and close to the Broads National Park.
The original building dates from 1877 and has since been remodelled, extended and equipped to a very high standard. We have seven class bases, a hall with extensive drama and gymnastic equipment, a computer suite, a well stocked reference library, a music/drama room, maths/science resource area, and a Design Technology resource area with newly fitted kitchen.
We are very fortunate to have our own outdoor heating swimming pool, a large sports field and a full sized netball court. The Reception children have a separate outdoor classroom area and adventure play equipment is also available for all other pupils on the school field.
Our wildlife garden, complete with bird hide, was originally initiated by Year 6 Class Council and is supported by the PTA.
